This box holds 9.521 liters, a little more than five times the traditional unit of shō(one shō is about 1.8 liters), meaning it holds about five times the volume of each of the other boxes in this set (N-124–128). Although it has no inscriptions, the box probably dates to the Muromachi period (1392–1573) like the others.
